thing families look at when searching for a new therapist
Why this matters

Your Google presence is your
first impression.

Before a family ever calls you โ€” they Google you. What they find either builds trust or sends them somewhere else.

๐Ÿ”

Searchability

More reviews = higher placement in local Google searches. It's free SEO that works 24/7.

โญ

Credibility

A strong review profile turns "I've never heard of them" into "everyone loves this practice."

๐Ÿ“ž

Referrals

Doctors and schools refer to practices they can point families to. Reviews are your proof point.

The clinicians with a full waitlist aren't necessarily the best in town. They're just the easiest to find โ€” and trust.

Sound familiar?

You know you need more reviews.
You just can't bring yourself to ask.

You're not alone โ€” and it's not a confidence problem. No one taught us this in grad school.

โ€“

You feel awkward asking families โ€” like you're putting them out or asking for a favor you don't deserve.

โ€“

You've mentioned it once or twice and didn't hear back โ€” so you dropped it entirely.

โ€“

You're not sure what to say, how to follow up, or how many times is "too many times."

โ€“

You've watched a competitor with half your experience rack up 50+ reviews while you sit at four.

โ€“

You know this matters for referrals โ€” but you can't seem to make it a consistent part of how you operate.

Asking for reviews doesn't have to feel salesy. The right words make it feel like a natural extension of the relationship you've already built.

What practice owners say

Real results. Real practice owners.

โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…

I had been meaning to work on our Google reviews for literally two years. After this workshop I sent my first ask that same evening using the script โ€” and got a response within 24 hours. I don't know why I made this so hard.

Pediatric SLP, Private Practice Owner
โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…

The scripts alone were worth it. I always felt so awkward asking โ€” like I was asking families to do my marketing for me. Now I understand it's actually giving them a chance to help other families find what they found. That reframe changed everything.

Melissa T.
OT, Private Practice Owner
โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…

We went from 6 reviews to 23 in about 6 weeks following the plan. Our referrals from Google have noticeably increased. This is one of those things that feels small but makes a huge difference over time.

Founder, Fill Your Private Practice

I've worked with hundreds of SLP and OT practice owners who are doing incredible clinical work โ€” but staying invisible online because asking for reviews feels uncomfortable. The truth is, it doesn't have to.

When I started teaching clinicians how to ask for Google reviews the right way, the results were immediate. Not just more reviews โ€” more referrals, more visibility, more confidence in their marketing. This workshop is everything I've learned packaged into a done-with-you experience.

This is one piece of what we teach inside the Fill Your Private Practice Marketing Club โ€” and I built it as a standalone workshop because every practice owner deserves to feel confident about this, whether or not they're ready for the full membership.

Questions

Got a question? We've got you.

Is it okay to ask clients for Google reviews? Is that allowed? +
Yes. Asking happy clients and families to share their experience is completely allowed and encouraged. What you can't do is offer incentives in exchange for reviews or write them yourself โ€” and inside the workshop we cover exactly how to ask in a way that's both ethical and comfortable, so you never have to wonder if you're crossing a line.
What if my clients are children? Can I still ask families for reviews? +
Absolutely โ€” and this is the most common situation for the SLPs and OTs in this workshop. You'll get scripts written specifically for asking parents and caregivers, with language that keeps the focus on their experience of working with you and respects their privacy.
What if I can't attend live? +
No problem at all. You get lifetime access to the full replay, plus every template, script, and resource the moment you join. Watch on your own schedule and come back to it whenever you need it.
I already have a Google Business Profile. Do I need to do anything to set it up before the workshop? +
Nope. The included Google Business Profile Quick-Start Guide walks you through optimizing what you already have, so your profile is ready to make the most of every new review that comes in. If you don't have one yet, the guide covers setting it up too.
How is this different from the Fill Your Private Practice Marketing Club? +
This workshop is a focused, one-time deep dive on a single high-impact topic: getting Google reviews. The Marketing Club is the full system โ€” ongoing monthly trainings across findability, awareness, and referral relationships, with a growing resource library. This is a perfect way to get a quick win first. And if you decide to join the Club later, your $47 is credited toward your first month.
What if it's not useful to me? +
If you show up, use the scripts, and don't find the workshop helpful, just reach out โ€” we'll make it right. The goal is for you to walk away with a system you actually use, not another thing sitting in your inbox.
