FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is The Start Your Private Practice Program Right for Me?
How long does it take to complete The Start Your Private Practice Program?
The course itself has been designed to take less than one hour a day over the span of 90 days.
On average, most students will get their first client 4 weeks after they start trying to get booked. Yep. We track that data (and celebrate it!)
But because you have LIFETIME ACCESS to the course materials and bonuses (including all future updates and bonuses), you have the opportunity to move at your own pace.
What am I going to learn in The Start Your Private Practice Program?
The Start Your Private Practice Program will show you exactly how to get your ducks in a row, market to ideal clients, bill successfully and start seeing ideal private clients full-time or “on the side.” We’ll have you starting your private practice with confidence. This program is, by far, the most comprehensive program for speech therapists who want to have a successful private practice along with the freedom, flexibility and finances that come with it.
By the end of the program you will:
- Know the exact steps to start seeing private clients as a speech-language pathologist without worry
- Know how to work with ideal clients based on your current skills
- Build a sustainable business that encompasses the legalities of starting a private practice
- Know exactly what treatment to use and when for your ideal clients
- Gain control over your caseload, finances and time
When can I enroll in Start Your Private Practice?
We only open for big public enrollments a few times per year. If you are seeing this page, you have a limited time to join Start Your Private Practice and should enroll now.
Will I get immediate access to all of the lessons and modules?
Yes! You will get immediate access to the entire program as soon as you join.
You will also get LIFETIME access to all of the content.
(How does that sound?)
Does Start Your Private Practice cover billing and insurance?
Yes!
It is VERY important that you get paid and earn what you’re worth. Our students are getting paid privately and through third parties (like insurance) every single day.
Module 4 covers how to bill private pay, insurance, Medicare and Medicaid. You will learn about each payor source and pick the best one for you, your practice and your community.
Do you offer CEUs?
To keep the cost down, I chose to not get preapproved by ASHA for CEUs. HOWEVER, I do meet all requirements for CMH hours which ASHA accepts. I just won't submit to the registry. You will earn 9 CMH hours after completion of this program. Keep the certifications on file and submit them to ASHA and state associations if requested. Learn about CMH hours: https://www.asha.org/Certification/ReportingUnits/

Yes, yes, and yes!
For 3 very key reasons…
- This is the absolute lowest price this product will EVER be, and I do have plans to raise the price. So if you want to save money on this investment, I suggest grabbing it now.
- You will have LIFETIME ACCESS to the course materials and bonuses PLUS access to any updates and bonuses added in the future, giving you the opportunity to move at your own pace.
- Right now there is a HUGE demand for SLPs in the private practice world -- so even if you just started with ONE client as soon as you’re ready, that’s one life changed by the skills and care that you bring to the table.
What if I’m a new SLP with a bad case of Imposter Syndrome and a lot of uncertainty about where to start?
Consider this your written permission slip to check those thoughts at the door.
If you’re feeling unsure about where to start or even asking yourself “who am I to chase my dreams of owning a lucrative private practice?” then I can assure you that you’re not alone.
Starting a private practice isn’t something they teach you in grad school, so it’s no surprise that you don’t feel prepared -- but The Start Your Practice Accelerator is like the missing course your grad school never covered.
Take this first step toward your dreams by joining and if it’s really not the right fit for you, there’s always my no-questions-asked 60-day guarantee.
Will I have to invest a lot on top of the program?
No! You can get started for just the cost of a business license (usually around $150).
This Program was designed to give you a debt-free start by providing you with all the tools and templates you need to get started right away PLUS a plan to provide your services virtually or in your patients’ homes -- no need to sign an office lease!
Your biggest investment in starting your private practice was going to graduate school and you can use the money generated from your private clients to pay off your student loan debt!
Will this work for Canadians?
Yes! We have had Candian SLPs join our programs, follow the steps, and successfully start their private practices.
Please be aware that some of the laws are different in the U.S. than Canada, but the Program works regardless!
Will this work for Occupational Therapists?
Yes! You just have to switch out the examples given to make the trainings, tools, and templates more relevant for you (ex. Sensory dysfunction vs. Language Delays).
I’m an SLP and work with SLPs most of the time so that’s who my marketing is directed at -- but don’t let it fool you!
