Meet Claudia Davisson 

My name is Claudia Davisson, and I've been an SLP in most clinical settings. Over time, I've gotten tired of the bureaucracy getting in the way of how I treat my clients. I love providing the services my clients deserve so they don't have to deal with 6-9 month wait-lists. 

I'd never even considered private practice, but when I realized through Jena's help I could have my own practice on-the-side, it gave me the courage to start, so I could supplement my retirement income. Well, go figure, turns out I could make a real income and am on track for a 6-figure income within the year.

Meet Amanda Modrowski 

My name is Amanda Modrowski and I'm a former school SLP who yearned to provide the very best individualized therapy possible without the excessive paperwork, restrictions, and large caseload.

So, with a toddler and a baby on the way, I dived into starting my own private practice in Ohio providing in-home speech therapy services to young children through school-aged accepting private pay only.

Now I'm focusing on growing my practice and have never felt more fulfilled and excited to work each day!

Meet Adrienne Fuller

My name is Adrienne and I have worked in all settings. I knew I wanted to start a private practice but always was told that I needed to be married to someone with a great insurance plan and that if I wanted to buy a house I needed a "steady" job.

I am proud to say that BECAUSE of my private practice I have been able to buy a house, provide health insurance for myself and other therapists AND I am gearing up to spend one month this summer in Hawaii!

I always say private practice is A LOT of work (but so was my school job) but I am so glad I took the leap!

Meet Katie Brown

My name is Katie Brown, I'm a medical SLP and lover of all things neuro communication & cognition! I decided to start my private practice after several years of being undervalued in my SNF, home health, and outpatient jobs. I once battled for instrumental swallowing assessments and dealt with unrealistic productivity requirements, but now I provide quality, ethical therapy without any pushback. Since starting my private practice in 2019, I have built a full-time practice, hired other SLPs, and made a huge impact in my community. Starting a private practice allowed me to create a job that fulfilled me both professionally and personally, I’m so glad I took the jump!
